Abstract:
Intrauterine infections can have a devastating effect of the fetus, neonate and the family of the infected infant. The impact of these infections depends on the gestation at which the infection occurs, the virulence of the organism and whether or not this is a primary or recurrent infection. This presentation will explore the organisms that have been implicated in fetal infections and will discuss the presentation and management of common intrauterine infections.Live Presentation Schedule
